Shrutika R.

I am a qualified Physiotherapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from D.Y. Patil University and over 4 years of clinical experience. I have worked in hospital and clinical settings, including OPD and IPD care, gaining experience across orthopaedics, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, neurological conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, and general rehabilitation.

My clinical experience has involved patient assessment, clinical reasoning, treatment planning, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, rehabilitation protocols, and patient education. I have also worked with sports-related injuries and have gained on-field experience at a national-level sporting event. In addition, I have training and practical experience in techniques such as Dry Needling and Cupping.

Through my clinical work, I have developed a strong understanding of how to connect theoretical concepts with practical patient management. I enjoy breaking down complex physiotherapy concepts into simple, structured explanations and helping students understand not just “what” to do, but also the clinical reasoning behind it.

As a tutor, I would like to help physiotherapy students strengthen their fundamentals, develop clinical reasoning, understand assessment and treatment approaches, and feel more confident applying their academic knowledge in real clinical situations.
