I am a professionally trained Hindustani classical musician and percussionist, with strong academic and practical experience in Vocal Music and Tabla. I am a disciple of Taalyogi Pandit Suresh Talwalkar for Tabla and was formerly trained under Pt. Kiran Kumar Hangal for Vocal music.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts (Music) and a Master’s Degree in Performing Arts from PPG Music College, Gadag, under Karnataka University, Dharwad, with excellent academic performance. My training is supported by formal certifications, including Visharada and Vidwath, in both Vocal and Tabla.

Teaching Experience

I have one year of teaching experience as a Music Teacher at Navodaya School, where I trained students in vocal music and rhythm. Under my guidance, students actively participated in inter-school and cultural competitions, winning several prizes. I focus on building strong basics, rhythm clarity, voice culture, and performance confidence in students.

I have also been invited as a guest and judge for various music competitions, which has helped me understand student performance from both learning and evaluation perspectives.

I have received multiple awards at state and national levels, including:
• 1st place at State Level Youth Festival
• 2nd rank at National Yuva Sourabh Fest
• Awards from the Department of Kannada and Culture and other cultural organisations

Teaching Approach

My teaching style is student-friendly, disciplined, and concept-oriented. I adapt lessons based on the learner’s age and level—beginner to advanced. I believe in combining traditional guru-shishya values with structured academic learning.
