I have been teaching French for the past 18 years, working with students across SSC, CBSE, IGCSE, and IB boards, as well as with individuals preparing to go abroad or simply looking to learn French for personal or professional enrichment. My teaching experience spans school curriculums, exam preparation, conversational fluency, and corporate language needs.

My academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree. Alongside that, I have pursued intensive French language training through Alliance Française, reaching B1 level proficiency. I have also completed a Special Diploma in French from Pune University, which has added a strong academic dimension to my language skills. Additionally, I hold the DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française) certification, which is globally recognized and further affirms my teaching credibility.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a wide range of learners — from school students navigating their first exposure to French to working professionals needing to enhance their communication for global interactions. My corporate experience in an insurance company, where I actively used French in a professional setting, has given me valuable insight into the practical use of the language. This helps me offer relevant, real-world language application in my sessions.

My teaching approach is interactive, personalized, and immersive. I adapt my sessions depending on each student’s comfort level, learning speed, and goals. Whether it’s for academic excellence, travel, or career development, I ensure that every student receives the support and tools they need to succeed in their French learning journey.

In terms of classroom tools, I use PowerPoint presentations, videos, whiteboard explanations, and most importantly, consistent audio-visual practice to help students with pronunciation, listening, and comprehension. I recommend a specific textbook that includes an audio CD, allowing students to build both receptive and productive skills outside of class as well. Assignments, quizzes, and regular tests are also part of the learning process to reinforce lessons and track progress.

Over the years, many of my students have continued learning with me for three years or more, which speaks volumes about the trust they place in my methods and the results they experience. For me, the most rewarding part of teaching French is watching students become confident, expressive, and genuinely passionate about the language and culture.
