"Hi, I am surya from chennai. I have just started my 3rd year in chemical engineering and i stilll am finding a lot of difficulties in trying to decide what to do after completing my degree. I have half my mind on for ms and half my mind on for mba. I feel equally drawn towards both the fields but i am not sure which path to tread upon and on what to set my target on. i feel its high time i started prep for any of which im going to choose. I badly need an experts advice. Thank you." in BTech Chemical Engineering(BTech Tuition), Career Counselling
Hi, if you go for MBA, you will learn Managing a Business. So you will have two kinds of knowledge as Chemical Engineer and Management Graduate. It opens more career prospects in chemical related companies, or any other companies. If you do MS is same subject, chances of getting job in multiple companies will be limited. You will have to work in chemical companies only. So doing MBA is a better option in terms of more job opportunities. Hope it helps you.
