Drawing Teaching Experience (19 Years) With 19 years of rich and diverse experience as an Art Educator, I have specialized in teaching Drawing across a wide range of educational settings. My journey in art education has involved guiding students from foundational levels to advanced stages, nurturing their creativity, skill, and appreciation for visual expression. I have worked extensively as a Visual Art Teacher in multiple CBSE schools, where I designed and delivered structured drawing curricula for grades 1 to 10. My focus has always been on developing students’ observational skills, creative thinking, and technical ability in areas such as line work, shading, perspective, composition, and figure drawing. In addition to school teaching, I have also served as a Lecturer at a Dress Designing College, where I taught fashion illustration and design drawing, helping students build essential skills in form, proportion, and garment rendering. Furthermore, I was a Lecturer at a D.Ed. College, where I trained aspiring teachers in the methodology of teaching drawing and visual art, emphasizing lesson planning, child-centered approaches, and art integration. Beyond the classroom, I have actively conducted several art workshops, including: Eco-Friendly Ganpati Making Workshop – introducing the concept of sustainable creativity through hands-on clay modeling and drawing. Landscape Drawing Workshops – teaching techniques in outdoor sketching, perspective, composition, and the use of mediums like pencil, charcoal, and watercolor. Currently, I am employed as an Art Teacher at a reputed CBSE School, where I continue to teach drawing and visual art. I take pride in mentoring students for school exhibitions, competitions, and creative projects, ensuring they develop a deep and lasting engagement with the visual arts.
