Onkar Deshmukh

A passionate and devoted lover of music, I have been immersed in the world of melody and rhythm since the tender age of 3. At just 9 years old, I had the honour of performing a Marathi duet on All India Radio, marking the beginning of my musical journey on a national platform.
I hold the prestigious Sangeet Visharad degree with a special qualification from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai, and I am a graded All India Radio artist for light music. Recently, I was selected by the renowned Kaushiki Chakraborty for a special musical retreat, following a highly competitive, all-India audition process.
As a performing musician, I have graced the stage at events such as Warje Kala Mahotsav, Pune (twice), and have been a lead vocalist at numerous shows across India. My musical journey has also taken me internationally, with performances in the United Kingdom at prestigious venues like Maharashtra Mandal, London, and the Mauritian Marathi Society, London.
In addition to performing, I am deeply committed to music education. I have conducted over 700 online and offline music sessions and have taught students from around the globe—including Australia, the USA, the UK, New Zealand, Germany, and Taiwan. With 500+ glowing 5-star reviews, my teaching is rooted in nurturing each student's unique musical potential.
