I demonstrate exercises, provide clear coaching cues, and deliver constructive feedback to improve technique while reducing injury risk. Encouraging athletes to understand correct movement patterns helps them develop body awareness and perform exercises with greater efficiency. Beyond practical coaching, I educate athletes about recovery, nutrition, hydration, sleep, workload management, and healthy lifestyle habits that support performance. I explain how these factors influence training adaptations and long-term athletic development, encouraging athletes to take ownership of their preparation both on and off the field. I also conduct physical performance assessments, including tests of strength, power, speed, mobility, and endurance. Following assessment, I explain individual results, identify strengths and areas requiring improvement, and design evidence-based training programmes tailored to each athlete’s needs. This process helps athletes understand their progress and motivates them to achieve specific performance goals. Working alongside coaches, physiotherapists, sports scientists, and medical staff has strengthened my communication and teaching skills. Collaboration ensures athletes receive consistent information and integrated support throughout training and rehabilitation. Overall, my teaching experience has enabled me to develop athletes physically while improving their understanding of training principles and performance. I strive to create a positive learning environment where athletes feel confident to ask questions, reflect on their progress, and continuously improve. Through evidence-based coaching, effective communication, and ongoing professional development, I aim to develop knowledgeable, resilient, and self-motivated athletes capable of achieving long-term success in sport.
