Karan Kokane

I teach Python, Data Science, and Machine Learning, and I’ve been doing this for the past 6 years. My journey began with a deep love for problem-solving and technical exploration, which I developed during my academic years and professional experience in Aerospace Engineering. Over time, I realized how powerful it is to share that knowledge with others, especially when complex topics are made easy to understand.

My academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering from The Aeronautical Society of India and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Cranfield University in the UK. After completing my master's, I worked as a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer. It was in this role that I gained real-world experience using simulations and data to optimize designs and analyze airflow—experiences that gave me a strong foundation in applying data science to practical problems.

As a teacher, I aim to simplify learning. I follow a one-on-one training model, which allows me to focus on each student's individual learning pace and requirements. I conduct my sessions on Google Meet, using handwritten notes, simple language, and lots of real-life examples. I don't believe in overwhelming students with high-tech jargon; instead, I aim to build strong fundamentals and encourage curiosity.

My teaching methodology is very hands-on. I use PowerPoint presentations and videos wherever necessary to help visualize complex concepts. But what sets my classes apart is how interactive and relatable they are. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and solve problems collaboratively. I often bring in examples from real projects or industry scenarios to help students understand how what they’re learning can be applied in the real world.

I also provide students with course materials and handwritten notes that are easy to follow and revise. These notes are organized topic-wise and are structured to help students navigate the subject even outside class hours. This kind of personalized support has helped many of my students feel confident and well-prepared for academic projects, internships, or job interviews.

Teaching these subjects has been one of the most rewarding parts of my professional journey. Watching students go from confusion to clarity, and seeing them build projects or land jobs using the skills they’ve gained in my classes, is incredibly fulfilling. I look forward to continuing to guide learners who are enthusiastic about technology and innovation.
