I'm Damini, a UI/UX designer from Pune with a background in Electronics & Telecommunications engineering. I transitioned into design because I believe good design is really just clear thinking — and that's something anyone can learn, including school students.

I've worked on a live healthcare SaaS platform, designed 20+ screens across web and mobile, and I've published a UX reference book — The UX Lexicon — that covers 101 design terms in simple language. I also write regularly about design for global publications on Medium. I say all this not to show off, but so you know: I can explain design in a way that actually makes sense, because I've had to explain it to many different people already.

I teach design thinking, visual design basics, Canva, and intro to Figma — adapted to the student's age and interest level. For younger students (Classes 6–8), I focus on creativity, visual storytelling, and simple design tools. For older students (Classes 9–12), I go deeper into UI/UX concepts, career awareness, and portfolio-ready projects they can actually be proud of.

My approach is project-first. We don't just talk about design — we make things. Every session ends with something the student has created.

I also help with design-related school assignments, art & craft projects involving visual communication, and career guidance for students considering design as a profession after Class 12.

I communicate in English, Hindi, and Marathi, and I'm comfortable adjusting my pace and style to match each student's comfort level.
