I am a professional Sitar artist and dedicated teacher with years of training and performance experience in Indian Classical Music. I have been trained under reputed gurus and follow a strong guru–shishya parampara, focusing on both traditional depth and modern learning methods.
I teach Hindustani Classical Sitar to beginners, intermediate, and advanced students, covering raag development, alap–jor–jhala, bandish, taan techniques, rhythm (taal), and performance skills. My teaching approach is structured yet flexible, ensuring students build a strong foundation while enjoying the learning process.
I have performed at concerts, festivals, and cultural platforms and continue to actively perform alongside teaching. I also guide students in stage confidence, practice discipline, and musical understanding, not just technique. Online classes are conducted professionally with clear guidance and personalised attention.
