I am a dedicated guitar instructor with hands-on experience teaching students of different age groups and skill levels, from absolute beginners to intermediate players. I specialize in acoustic and basic electric guitar, focusing on building strong fundamentals while keeping learning engaging and practical. My teaching approach is student-centric and structured. I begin with understanding the learner’s goals—whether it’s playing songs, performing confidently, or understanding music theory—and tailor lessons accordingly. I focus on proper posture, finger strength, strumming techniques, chord transitions, rhythm, and timing. For interested students, I also introduce basic music theory, including scales, time signatures, and chord progressions, to help them understand music beyond just playing. I emphasize playability and real-world application, encouraging students to learn popular songs and simple performances alongside technical exercises. Regular practice routines, feedback, and gradual progression help students gain confidence and consistency. I am patient, approachable, and attentive in class, ensuring that beginners feel comfortable and motivated. I also adapt lessons for students with physical limitations (such as hand size or finger strength) and recommend suitable instruments when required. My goal is not just to teach guitar, but to help students enjoy music, develop discipline, and express themselves confidently through playing.
