Theebak Varma - Biotechnology trainer 5 year experience

I am Theebak Varma, a teacher specialising in Microbiology and Biotechnology. I primarily teach M.Sc. students and have one year of teaching experience along with five years of industry experience in the field. My combination of academic and professional experience allows me to bring practical knowledge into my classes along with theoretical concepts. I completed my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from D.G. Vaishnav College, Chennai, in 2018. I have also completed my Master of Science (M.Sc.) in a relevant life-science field. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in Microbiology and Biotechnology, while my industry experience has helped me develop practical knowledge and a deeper understanding of how these subjects are applied in professional settings. I have five years of industry experience in Microbiology and Biotechnology. This experience has been an important part of my professional journey because it has allowed me to work with concepts beyond an academic environment. I bring this practical perspective into my teaching so that students can understand the connection between what they study and its practical applications. I also have one year of teaching experience and enjoy working with students at the postgraduate level. I focus on helping students understand concepts clearly and develop a stronger foundation in their subjects. Whenever appropriate, I connect theoretical concepts with practical applications based on my industry exposure. My teaching methodology is structured and interactive. I prepare lesson plans so that the topics can be covered systematically and students can follow the progression of the subject clearly. I also encourage students to participate in the sessions and ask questions so that their doubts can be addressed during the learning process. I use PPTs and a whiteboard during my classes to explain concepts in a clear and organised manner. I provide both online and offline classes and adapt my explanations according to the student's requirements and level of understanding. My aim as a teacher is to make Microbiology and Biotechnology easier to understand by combining academic concepts with practical perspectives. Through my teaching experience and industry exposure, I want to help M.Sc. students strengthen their subject knowledge, understand concepts in greater depth, and develop a better connection between theory and practical applications.
