I am Ruhan R., an Italian language tutor and cultural mediator with over 10 years of experience living in Italy. My experience of living in Italy has given me a strong understanding of the Italian language and culture, which I bring into my lessons to help learners develop both language skills and cultural familiarity. I currently offer Italian language classes with a focus on conversation, grammar, and culture. I aim to make learning Italian practical and engaging by helping students develop their ability to understand and use the language with greater confidence. Alongside teaching, I have worked in translation and interpreting, particularly with migrants and public services. This experience has given me practical exposure to communication across languages and cultures and has strengthened my understanding of how language can be used effectively in different real-life situations. My approach to Italian learning includes developing conversational ability as well as a clear understanding of grammar. I believe that learners benefit from building their language skills progressively, while also gaining an appreciation of the culture associated with the language. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Florence. My academic journey in Italy complements my practical experience with the Italian language and further supports my understanding of the language and its cultural context. I offer Italian Language classes for learners looking to develop their Italian skills. My expertise includes Italian language learning across A1, A2, B1, and B2 levels, allowing me to support learners at different stages of their language journey. I am fluent in Italian and Hindi and proficient in English. Being comfortable across these languages helps me communicate with learners from different backgrounds and provide explanations in a way that is accessible to them. My goal as an Italian language tutor is to help learners build confidence in Italian through conversation, grammar, and cultural understanding. I strive to make the learning experience practical and meaningful while helping students progress steadily in their language journey.
