Twelve years of Industry experience in the areas of finance, accounting and planning and twenty eight years as a practicing stock market technical analysts/advisor/faculty member and journalist in the areas of equity research and portfolio management.


Highlights of Work Experience.

Worked in the areas of finance, accounting and planning with Trans National Corporations. Responsible for development of suitable systems and procedures for matching demand and supply of various product groups so as to optimize revenue, taking into account production lead times and facilities constraints. Responsible for development of system for ensuring quality client servicing and appropriate production planning and control mechanisms.

Twenty years as a practicing technical analyst in the areas of equity research and portfolio management. Currently working as an investment advisor to stock broking firms, sub-brokers and high net worth individuals for management of their portfolios. Have been involved in suggesting appropriate entry and exit strategies based on different investment objectives and nature of funds. The Technical Analysis strategies outlined have always out-beaten the index even in declining and non-trending markets.

Associated as an equities dealer with Kotak Securities Ltd., (formerly Uday. S. Kotak), one of the leading broking firms in the country for the two years has provided valuable insights into understanding and predicting market sentiments as reflected in the bourses.

Working as a part time faculty member at the UTI Institute of Capital Markets, N.M Institute of Management Studies, and Capital Market – Technical School on their course on stock market technical analysis. Involved in conducting own training programme and course to practicing professionals in the areas of equity research, investment and financial advisory services and CEO’s of small/medium sized corporate to enable them to appreciate and use technical analysis as an important decision making tool for fund management. The Institute of Company Secretary of India (New Mumbai) & School of management science in Varanasi (U.P) had invited to deliver a talk on capital market based on technical analysis among others.

Been an early entrant as journalist to write technical write ups for leading newspapers like Gujarat Samachar, Economic Times, Bombay Samachar, Capital Market-Technical, Sandesh and certain other magazine of Main-Brokers of Mumbai Stock Exchange. Regular contributor to the technical write-ups on market positioning and behaviour of select scrips for in house research journals of leading broking firms which are circulated to fund manager in India and abroad.

Recently completed technical analysis training of research analysts of National Collateral Management Services Ltd. (NCMSL) for their analysis of Commodities Market

Leading business news channel like DD news, Zee TV, etc have sought opinion over the telephone as well as studio interview on many occasions about stock market in general and stocks per se in particular. I was the first person to appear as technical analyst of stock market on Indian tv news channel as well as first technical analyst writer on leading financial news papers like Economic times and Bombay samachar etc.

Involved in the development of indigenously developed software for technical analysis, which is currently very popular among practicing technical analyst and corporate. Currently engaged in training of the Research analysts of logistic management company formed by reputed banks of India for a commodity exchange in India.

Presently engaged in advising clients such as Brokers/sub brokers and high networth individuals on trading as well as investing in the stocks & commodities markets.
