I am the recipient of the prestigious KVPY fellowship (Award ID: EB2091304) funded byDST, Government of India for four years (from 01.04.2010 to 31.03.2014). I am the one among seven successful candidates in the country rigorously scrutinized (based on 10th marks, +2 marks, Innovative project proposal and interview at IIT Bombay) in engineering discipline and finally ed for KVPY fellowship 2009 awards. Under this scheme, I pursued research projects as summer camps at (1) Dept. of Biotechnology, Alagappa University, Karaikudi on the topic Production of secondary metabolites from
medicinal plants used by Tribes in The Nilgiris (2) at RGCB, Trivandrum on the topic Expression and Purification of Recombinant Protein Kinase From BL21 (DE3) E.Coli Strain and (3) at JSS College of Pharmacy, Ootacamund on the topic Extraction and Characterization of the Ethanolic extract of Tribulus terrestris. For my M.Tech program, I worked on Castor oil based self-nano emulsifying Levosulpiride delivery system: Formulation, optimization and in vitro characterization.
