Prof. Suyog Chachad is an accomplished finance academician and industry professional with over 15 years of combined experience in the BFSI sector and academia. He holds an MBA in Finance from PUMBA, Pune University, is UGC-NET and SET qualified, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Finance from Savitribai Phule Pune University. His academic foundation is complemented by a B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunication.

He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP CM), Chartered Market Technician (CMT – L1), CAIIB, and holds multiple NISM and NCFM certifications in derivatives, mutual funds, investment advisory, and technical analysis, along with IRDAI certifications.

In his teaching career, Prof. Chachad has been associated with leading management institutions such as the International School of Business & Media (ISB&M) and Indira School of Business Studies, where he has taught and designed courses in Financial Markets, Security Analysis, Portfolio Management, Derivatives, Banking, and Wealth Management.

He brings rich industry experience from reputed financial institutions including ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, and Millionminds Securities Pvt. Ltd., where he held managerial and leadership roles in banking operations, relationship management, and financial planning.

His academic interests include capital markets, derivatives, behavioral finance, and personal financial planning. He has published research in Scopus and UGC Care-listed journals, presented papers at international and national conferences, and conducted numerous FDPs, workshops, and NISM/NCFM training programs for students and professionals.

Prof. Chachad is passionate about bridging academic learning with industry practice and mentoring students to build successful careers in finance and investment.
