Ever since I could remember all I ever wanted to be was a botanist. As a child I pretty much lived in the various flowering plants cultivation near our home. I used to say that I can’t live without flowers and plants.Being a professor of botany/biology is wonderful because of the opportunities it offers - being able to share one's enthusiasms with students, designing new courses, having the opportunity to do field work, watching one's field of specialty change and grow, doing research, and spending one's life in contact with the green world. when I decided to pursue botany as a career, but it happened some time during my final two years of undergraduate work after I fell under the influence of the botanists such as George Carver, rachel and my all botany professors. After my master’s from Pune University and master’s research project at Pragati Biotech, Pune, I got an opportunity to pursue my research At Department of Botany and Environmental science, Pune University.
An exhilarating career in the field of botany has always been my dream. would like to teach the subjects like
Biotechnolgy, tissue culture, physiology and biochemistry, phytoremediation for crop improvement and sustainable agriculture development, Organic farming, Gardening and landscaping. in teaching methods i always prefer ICT tools in different formats, live examples, and interactive teaching with student centric methods.
