The best way is to listen to some nursery rhymes because they have very simple melodies and try to figure out the notes on a piano. Since you are familiar with them, the tunes are easier to remember. I don't recommend starting with difficult songs because that can confuse you. Another way is to have a learning partner or a teacher play a couple of notes for you and try to figure out what they were. Eventually you can start increasing the difficulty. read less
