WAMP stands for windows apache mysql php and lamp is for linux apahe mysql php. As the name indicates both are the packages for their indicated os which include ready to use setup of apache server with php and mysql. Because its somewhat difficult to setup apache server manually so these packages provide preconfigured server which you just install like a normal software and run. The php code you have written doesn't depend on server or these wamp/ lamp packages. All it needs a server running with php on it. If php is installed/configured on your server, the code will run read less

Yes. Its can be run in LAMP also. Actually You don't write any code specially for WAMP or LAMP. just whatever the code you write in PHP its compile the code in Apache server. Apache server for Linux we use LAMP and for windows we use WAMP.
