How challenging can it be if I want to transfer a website developed in WordPress to a PHP platform?

Wordpress is also a PHP's CMS. Though WP is having it's own abstraction. So don't think to convert WP in Core PHP or it's framework like CakePHP, Laravel --- Just note down the existing website functionalities and start developing it from scratch. You can use WP db if you want else develop your own
