Teaching Experience in detail in Class 10 Tuition

For the past two years, I have been teaching Class 10 students in Mathematics and Science. Most of the students I have worked with initially struggled with basic concepts, especially in Algebra, Trigonometry and Physics numericals. My first focus is always to strengthen fundamentals before moving to board-level questions. In my classes, I explain each concept in simple language, solve examples slowly and clearly, and then give students practice questions to solve independently. I regularly conduct short tests to check understanding and discuss mistakes in detail so that the same errors are not repeated. For board preparation, I guide students on answer presentation, step marking, time management and how to avoid common calculation mistakes. I also provide structured revision before exams and focus on important NCERT and exemplar questions. My goal while teaching Class 10 students is not only to help them score well in boards, but also to build confidence so they feel comfortable solving questions on their own.

For the past two years, I have been teaching Class 9 students in Mathematics and Science. I strongly believe Class 9 is one of the most important foundation years because many core concepts that continue till Class 10, 11 and 12 start here. While teaching Class 9, I focus heavily on building clarity in fundamentals such as Number Systems, Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, basic Physics concepts and logical reasoning. Instead of rushing through chapters, I make sure students understand the “why” behind every formula and method. My teaching approach is simple and structured. I first explain the concept in easy language, then solve examples step-by-step, and finally give practice questions to ensure the student can solve independently. I regularly conduct short tests and revision sessions to strengthen weak areas. Many students at this level struggle with confidence in Mathematics. I work patiently to remove fear from the subject and help them develop problem-solving thinking from an early stage. I also guide them on proper notebook work, presentation and step writing so that they build good habits before entering board classes. My aim in teaching Class 9 is to create a strong base so that Class 10 and higher studies become much easier and smoother for the student.

In Class 7, topics become slightly more analytical, especially in algebra, percentages and scientific reasoning. I focus on explaining concepts step-by-step and gradually training students to think logically rather than memorizing formulas. I am currently studying at IIT Patna and have qualified national-level examinations such as NTSE, PRMO, RMO and other science Olympiads. Alongside my academic journey, I have been teaching Mathematics and Science to students from Classes 6 to 12 for the past two years. For Class 6 students, my focus is on building a very strong foundation. At this stage, clarity in basic arithmetic, fractions, integers and core science concepts is extremely important. I explain concepts patiently and in simple language so that students understand the logic behind every step. Even though I come from a competitive academic background, I ensure that my teaching style is comfortable and supportive for young learners. My goal is to build confidence, accuracy and disciplined study habits from an early stage so that higher classes become easier.
