Better you do not attempt. It is like cutting your own hair... You cannot really see the back of your head, even if there aren't many mirrors. Best to go to a trustworthy therapist only.

Past life regression by self is not advisable as one has chances of opening up pseudomemories. It is not accessing past life memories that is important but what's important is to heal them the right way and for that you need a help of a trained therapist

Hi Naina , if you have practiced self hypnosis you can see your past life but it is not advisable for self treatment . you need to consult a hypnotherapist , as some of the problems are not only related to past life but with some other reasons.
