How often do you paint with acrylics without mixing ?

I mostly use acrylics directly on canvas, so I rarely feel the need of mixing since I have got most of the needful colors and am at an advanced stage. I mostly use acrylics directly on canvas, so I rarely feel the need of mixing since I have got most of the needful colors and am at an advanced stage. However, if you are a beginner do try to mix and make colors in order to learn the color theory. One of the reasons why I don't like mixing acrylic colors before painting is that acrylics dry very quickly and when you mix them and spread it in order to mix it dries even more quickly. So it is one of the techniques I have evolved for less wastage of acrylic colors. You can see the results.. read less
