This masterclass teaches the basics of yoga with focus on poses, alignment, breath and art of honoring your body. This is the perfect opportunity to begin or re-establish your yoga practice. We will cover yoga breathing, sun-salutarion and few asanas practice (including but not limited to cat & cow stretches, cobra pose, locust pose, child pose, butterfly pose, wind relieving posture, forward bend, tree pose etc). During the practice, I will explain the correct alignments and benefits of each and every posture.
Let's note down a few tips to make the maximum of the masterclass:
1) Try to join few minutes before (7-10 min) and settle your breath
2) Set up your camera in such a manner that I can see you fully in both sitting and standing postures.
3) Make some distance from phones, watches, iPads - anything that dings, rings or buzes and may divert your attention
4) Dress comfortably so that you can easily stretch. Avoid jewelry
5) If possible, find a spot near wall.
6) keep some cushions, pillows, a big towel with you to be used as props specially if you have neck/back/knee pain. Also, don't forget a water bottle 😁
7) Try to avoid any heavy meal atleast for two hours before the session
8) And the most important, bring yourself and a yoga mat
