This course is designed for beginner and intermediate singers who want to strengthen their voice and connect more deeply with their music. Combining Indian classical warm-ups with Western vocal techniques, it focuses on building breath control, tone, and confidence while exploring the expressive side of singing. Students will learn daily vocal exercises, understand their range, and develop agility through alankars and scales.
Each participant will also work on songs of their choice- whether Western, Indie, or regional- learning how to interpret lyrics, shape emotion, and bring authenticity to performance. The goal is to help every singer find their unique sound and feel comfortable expressing it, whether on stage or in the studio.
All you need to do, is bring in a notebook to note down exercises, have an open mind- to trying something new, be willing to practice by yourself between classes (you'll be surprised to see how relaxing it is) and be patient with yourself- you'll be able to sing the songs you've been waiting to!
