This one-on-one Unity Game Development class is designed for absolute beginners and early learners who want to understand how games are actually made using Unity, without feeling overwhelmed by random tutorials or complex theory.
The class starts by introducing the Unity Editor and its core components such as Scene view, Game view, Hierarchy, Inspector, and Project window. Students learn how GameObjects and Components work together and how Transform properties like position, rotation, and scale affect objects inside a game scene.
Basic C# scripting is introduced in a simple and practical way, focusing on how scripts control behaviour rather than memorizing syntax. Students learn keyboard input handling and basic logic to create interaction. Physics concepts such as Rigidbody, gravity, and force are explained through hands-on examples, including building a simple jump mechanic.
The teaching approach is calm, concept-first, and hands-on, with live experimentation so students clearly understand why things work or break. This beginner foundation is delivered as 3 live one-on-one sessions, each 1 hour long, paced according to the student’s comfort level.
No prior Unity or programming experience is required.
