Every major finance decision, from pricing a bond to approving a project or choosing a loan, rests on one idea: money today is worth more than the same money tomorrow. Yet many students memorize the formulas without knowing when to use which one, and that is where exam and interview mistakes happen.

In this 60-minute live session, we build the concept first, then the mechanics, then the judgment. You will learn how to turn a word problem into a clear timeline of cash flows, tell annuities from perpetuities, and see why compounding frequency changes the answer. Then you will solve a real EMI or investment problem in Excel, checking the result by hand.

The session is hands-on. You will take a short diagnostic quiz at the start and the same quiz at the end, so you can see your own improvement. Seats are capped at 10, so your questions get answered.

You will leave with a solved-problem sheet, Excel templates, a one-page "which formula, when" cheat sheet, and a practice set. This is a strong foundation before NPV, IRR, and WACC.
