This comprehensive course is designed to provide students with a clear, structured, and exam-oriented understanding of core commercial laws, which form the backbone of legal education and competitive examinations. The curriculum covers three essential statutes in detail. Under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, students will study the fundamentals of contract law, including formation of a valid contract, offer and acceptance, consideration, capacity of parties, free consent, legality of object, breach of contract, and available remedies.
The Sale of Goods Act, 1930 will be explained with special emphasis on conditions and warranties, transfer of ownership, performance of contract, rights and liabilities of buyer and seller, and the concept of the unpaid seller. The course also includes a focused study of the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, covering the nature of partnership, registration of firms, mutual rights and duties of partners, and modes of dissolution.
