"I took Harish Kumar Sir's classes for GRE in month of December 2017 and it was my best decision, I told him my target and want to cover entire syllabus as soon as I can, he gave me a perfect strategy and insider tips to get the score I wanted, he is very god at teaching Critical Reasoning and his notes and presentations are the only thing you will need to study, he covers everything and doesn't give any useless information. I just followed his strategies and tips and it helped me tremendously in main GRE exam. His specific methods on how to choose correct answer were of great help especially when I didn't knew what the correct answer was, as he says GRE questions try to trick you. He teaches you how not to get tricked by GRE questions. He always keeps in touch via email and gives feedback on your answers and resolves whatever issues you have, this is very important when you are learning online. Also I am an average student but the scores I got in Verbal were better than what most Indian students get in GRE. Another important thing is he was flexible with timing. Overall I am very happy with the results and I definitely recommend his class to anyone who wants to prepare very well for GRE. "

"I had an opportunity to review Harish Sir's GRE course which was being designed to be deployed in Chalk Street. Frankly speaking, I was completely impressed by his approach to solve a problem. I have reviewed other GRE tutors too, but Harish Sir's strategy to nail a reading comprehension question will surely leave all other tutors pitying themselves. RC being one of the hardest parts in the exam would surely transform into a Jackpot question once you've mastered Harish Sir's strategies. To top it all, he is a calm, patient and hardworking man which are the best qualities a teacher should have. He would repeat the explanation of an answer using different examples from movies and stories which would make you want to solve another question. One of the best examples I've heard from Harish Sir is this quote from Sherlock Homes: "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth". That never gets old! "

"I assisted Harish Sir in developing an online GRE course for ChalkStreet. It was heartening to see the effort he put into developing the content although he is adept at the English language. "Harish handled Verbal reasoning for me in a group of seven students during the months of November and December 2013. At that point of time I was employed, so I had picked the weekend course at the Manhattan Review at T Nagar Chennai. Learning again in a class room was the start of a memorable experience that was enhanced with the quality that Harish brought to his classes. Harish was genuinely interested in teaching. The passion to express oneself via teaching was evident in the way he presented every class. His general wide spread interest in varied topics and references to classical as well as popular culture led to vivacious discussions which made for great recall value as I would prepare for new word lists and sometimes for the root words themselves His approach to each material presented was as though it were as new to him as it was to us. While he was open to looking at new answers via interpretations that had come up through discussions at the class , he often contested those with the conventional approach giving us an insight into the methods of reasoning used by the committee that sets these questions. This sensitized us to further nuanced thought processes. Most of us in our class needed to broaden our vocabulary. Harish would constantly stress on the basics. ‘Have you prepared your word Cards?’ He would often say. It seemed like Harish had an intuitive perception of the pace of each student and while we were a small number of students he would time the class appropriately and we could find that he gradually was increasing the speed as we adapted better to the course material Harish rallied along with us as our examination dates drew closer. His three hour classes ran well into 4 as he helped us with our doubts in passages we earlier had difficulties in. The effort that he would put in made a great deal of difference in our confidence to approach certain problems thereby directly improving the speed with which we could respond to problems. "

I was particularly impressed by sir's wide range of vocabulary and his ability to transfer knowledge in a simple and efficient manner. "The consensus among GRE takers is that the intimidating verbal section requires channelized and dedicated preparation. Yet, there is a resource person who can turn the ‘intimidating’ verbal section into our most favorite section. He is Harish Sir, whose classes I have thoroughly enjoyed. He has developed a unique methodology for using flash cards (which he periodically reviews), which not only helps us to retain the words but also teaches us the exact contextual use. He expounds on the etymology of words and also gives us groups of related words to help us understand them better. Every session of his is a guaranteed addition to our vocabulary building efforts. His classes are very interactive and personally he is a very affable person. He devotes plenty of time to train his students on Reading Comprehension (RCs), the toughest and the score determining factor in GRE. "Basically I am very weak with English and my high school English marks were below average. After completing my bachelor degree, I am very much interested in pursuing my masters in US. So i have to do my GRE exam. My friend referred me Mr.Harish and I joined him for verbal. First day of my class, I am weak with grammar, vocabulary, tenses (I cant understand anything). Mr.Harish took me extra care and motivated me to learn basic vocabs, reading books like "word power made easy", some magazines and after one month I was quite confident with my language but i cant solve any verbal questions in GRE. His way of teaching is really awesome and within two months I had learned more than thousands of new vocabulary with proper usage. I made hundreds of flash cards with my own sentence really helped me till now. other than that he taught me Greek and Latin roots, meaning of colors, planets etc. After two months I am really happy with my understanding and I took my GRE and I scored 150 in verbal. I got immense satisfaction on it because within two months I found such a change. I strongly Mr.Harish for GRE, CAT, GMAT and all other exams related to English. "
