Welcome to 2 days per week {1month} classes of - The Squish mallow & Kawaii Drawing Club, a joyful and social art space for creative learners ages 8–10 who love all things squishy, fluffy, cute, and colorful! Each week, students will explore different Kawaii-inspired themes, guided by step-by-step drawing instruction designed to spark imagination and support growing artists. Classes begin with a quick warm-up or sketch challenge followed by a themed drawing session.
Learners will draw everything from silly sushi rolls to rainbow alpacas—building confidence, cartooning skills, and personal style along the way. This class is social, positive, and paced for neurodiverse and sensitive learners.
While each -week stands alone, learners are encouraged to attend regularly to build a portfolio of cute -characters and creative flair!
Learning Goals:
- Learn to build characters using shapes and expression
- Strengthen cartooning, line control, and coloring skills
- Practice design thinking and personalization
- Grow social confidence by sharing in a positive group
