My name is Pradip Chauhan, and I am an educator dedicated to the art and power of the English language. My professional life is built on a dual foundation: nurturing young minds as an English teacher in a higher secondary school and empowering individuals of all ages to communicate with confidence through my own venture, ‘Speaksure - A Spoken English Class’. This unique combination allows me to approach language education from two vital perspectives: the academic and the practical.
In my role as a higher secondary school teacher, I have the privilege of guiding students through the rich tapestry of English literature and the intricate rules of grammar. My classroom is a space where we deconstruct classic texts, analyse poetry, and build the foundational skills necessary for academic excellence. I am passionate about showing students that English is not merely a subject to be passed, but a tool for critical thinking, creative expression, and understanding diverse cultures. Witnessing a student grasp a complex literary theme or construct a persuasive argument is a reward that fuels my dedication to formal education.
However, I have long recognised that academic proficiency does not always translate into real-world conversational confidence. I’ve seen brilliant students who could write exceptional essays but hesitated to speak in front of an audience. This observation was the catalyst for creating Speaksure. My vision was to establish an environment free from the fear of making mistakes—a place where the primary goal is fluency, not just flawless grammar.
At Speaksure, we move beyond the textbook. Our methodology is centred on interactive sessions, real-world scenarios, role-playing, and public speaking exercises designed to build practical communication skills. We focus on pronunciation, intonation, and the subtle nuances that make a speaker sound natural and persuasive. The name ‘Speaksure’ itself embodies our core mission: to empower every student to speak with certainty and self-assurance, whether in a job interview, a business presentation, or a casual conversation.
