Teaching Methodology
I believe in concept-based teaching with real-life examples, discussion and case-study approach using current affairs integration and a structured answer-writing practice to score well in examinations.
The course explores key themes such as sociological imagination, social institutions, culture, socialisation, inequality, and social change. Students will learn how social structures like family, education, and media shape individual behaviour and identity. The course also examines diversity, caste, class, and gender relations within contemporary Indian society, encouraging students to connect theoretical concepts with real-life social issues.
