CertifiedThis class will cover the first four songs of Sapthagiri Sankirtanams of Annamacharya. There are a total of seven sankirtanams as the name suggests. While there are other famous and notable songs of Annamayya, this set is recognised one under this name and is sung in many places as an offering to Lord Govinda!
1. Bhavamulona - Suddhadhanyasi raga
2. Brahma kadigina pAdamu - Mukhari raga
3. Podaganti mayya - Mohanam
4. Narayana te namo namo - Behag
Students will learn this over 16 classes 1 class per week targeted to complete in 4 months' time, with one or two final revision sessions. Kids and elders alike can join this class.
Interested students need to be able to sing basic carnatic songs to be able to join these classes. Part 2 of this course will cover the remaining 3 songs - Muddugare yasodha, Kondalalo nelakonna and Enta mAtramuna.
The classes intend to enable interested people and devotees to learn and sing it as an offering to the Lord or build their reportoire. Part 2 will be launched after the completion of the part 1 course. Wishing you a fulfilling learning experience!
The dakshana/fee of INR 3900 is for the full course of 16 classes of one hour each.
