This class is designed for students, working professionals, entrepreneurs and anyone who wants to learn programming without requiring any previous coding experience.
The course begins with installing Python, using VS Code and running simple programs. Students then learn variables, data types, operators, conditions, loops, functions and commonly used data structures such as lists, dictionaries, tuples and sets.
As the course progresses, students learn how to work with files, CSV and JSON data, organize programs into modules, handle errors and build applications using object-oriented programming. The course also introduces virtual environments, third-party packages, web APIs, automated testing, debugging, Git and GitHub.
Every module includes practical coding exercises and a weekly project. Students will finish the course by developing and presenting an independent Python application.
Students need to bring a laptop with internet access and permission to install Python, VS Code and Git. No programming background is required. Basic knowledge of using files, folders, a web browser and common computer applications is sufficient.
After completing this course, students will be ready to pursue specialized learning paths such as Backend Development, Python Automation, Data Analysis, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision.
