         Truly Fundamental Particles     

Dear students,

                        In this Particular Article, I am going to discuss  “What our Universe Composed of ?” What are Truly Fundamental Particles which make us?

                                          All the particles forming our universe  belong to only Two Families  called 1.LEPTONS 2. QUARKS.

They are truly fundamental particle because they dont have their internal structure and have zero dimension ,so they are point like.

LEPTONS : This Family has Six Members with most Popular called Electron. Other Members are Muon, Tauon, Electron Neutrino, Muon Neutrino, Tauon Neutrino along with their Anti Particles namely Positron, Anti Muon etc.

QUARKS: They are of Six Kinds 1.UP 2.DOWN 3.STRANGE 4.CHARMED 5.TOP 6.BOTTOM. having charge +2e/3,-1e/3,-1e/3,+2e/3,+2e/3and-1e/3 respectively.

These Quarks can combine in groups of Two or Three forming another families called Mesons and Baryons respectively ,which together called Hadrons. Examples of Baryons are Proton and Neutron where as examples of Mesons are  Pion and Kaon.

                                         I hope this Article will  give you little idea of the compositions of our Universe.
