Target Audience
This course is designed for students, fresh graduates, automation engineers, and professionals who want to understand modern industrial automation from the shop-floor level up to enterprise systems.
Course Outline
Unlike a traditional PLC course that focuses only on ladder programming, this training provides a broader understanding of how PLCs, SCADA, OPC UA, MES, and ERP systems work together in a modern Industry 4.0 environment.
Topics Covered:
- PLC Fundamentals
- PLC programming - using Ladder Diagram(LD) and Structured Text(ST)
- Understanding of Codesys IDE and Factory I/O Simulation Software
- Industrial Communication - Modbus RTU/TCP
- IIOT protocols - OPC UA, MQTT
- OPC UA in detail - Client-Server, Pub-Sub, Companion specifications etc
- SCADA and HMI - Using Ignition SCADA by Inductive Automation
- IT/OT integration - Using OPC UA
- Automation Architecture - ISA95
- Manufacturing Execution Systems(MES) in detail - Using Sepasoft
- ERP Software - Will teach the basic and integrations
The training will include practical exercises and industrial use cases
Course Objective
By the end of this training, students should be able to understand the complete journey of industrial data — from sensors and PLCs on the factory floor to SCADA, OPC UA, MES, ERP, databases, and IT applications.
Please Note..
- I also offer German language training up to the B1 level as a separate course. This can be especially beneficial for students who are planning to pursue an Ausbildung, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Germany, particularly in fields related to Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, IIoT, and related technologies.
- I can also offer individual courses like SCADA Training, Industrial Networking and IIOT, PLC programming and MES Training
