The phonics class is designed to help young learners build a strong foundation in reading, spelling, and early writing. Children are introduced to the relationship between letters and sounds in a fun and systematic way. The sessions focus on developing skills such as sound recognition, blending, segmenting, and decoding words.
- Lessons are interactive and engaging, using a variety of activities like flashcards, rhymes, songs, games, and storytelling to make learning enjoyable. Children gradually progress from learning single letter sounds to digraphs, blends, word families, and eventually to reading simple sentences.
- Regular practice exercises, worksheets, and reading activities are included to reinforce learning. Each child’s progress is carefully observed, and additional support is given wherever needed. The class aims not only to improve literacy skills but also to boost confidence, vocabulary, and a love for reading.
- Students will be provided with systematic and appropriate notes including multiple practice worksheets in PDF form.
