This class is for 2nd year Pharmacology undergraduates who need easy and exam oriented coverage of the syllabus. The master class will be for a duration of 45 min- 1 hour.

The topics of RAAS inhibitors deals with drugs acting at various stages on Renin Angiotensin Aldosterone System (RAAS) pathway, detailed Pharmacology of ACE Inhibitors in the headings of Mechanism of action with the flow charts and diagrams, Pharnmacokinetics, Pharmacological actions, uses with rationale, adverse effects and drug interactions. The class also compares and contrast various ACE inhibitors. Detailed Pharmacology of Angiotensin receptor blockers (ARB), Advantages of ARB over ACE inhibitors, Current place of RAAS Inhibitors in the treatment of hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases will also be dealt in detail. The class helps in understanding the concepts by referring to case study and Multiple Choice Questions

The student is expected to bring note book, pen so that they can follow the exam tips of writing answers
