Orientation class and chapter 1 of NCERT Book

This class is for orientation of geography for class 11th students. We will go through the syllabus and exercises. This class is more targetted toward the gaining concept and  less on writing work. 

Students need to bring  India map along with geography books. Marking of neighbours of india and its geographical relations. Location of india in northern hemisphere with its latitude and longotude span. 

student will get to know about the structure and physiography of india. 

Difference between structure and physiographic features. nature and characterstics of division of india. 

Peninsular India: formation, mountains and peaks, geological time scale

The Himalayas: its formation and characterstic features alongwith lofty mountain pass and peaks, its distribution and its role on climate.

Plains of India: its expense from Gujrat to Assam Plains, its type, its usefulness, plains in Kashmir valleys and thier use for saffron cultivation. We will also covers the multiple islands of India.
