I am going to discuss the pattern you need to follow to grasp organic Chemistry completely. Most of the books fail to show you the pattern and depicts the concepts in a boring way. Allow me to introduce the logical and fun way of learning organic Chemistry.  Also the "Xtra" part is a surprise!!

All the reactions in Organic Chemistry are based upon three to four effects. First we'll  meticulously learn those. Then,  we are going to divide organic compounds on the basis of their reactivity and understand the reason behind it.

Next, we'll combine both the learnings and predict the formations of all the products accurately. Any  reactions, just from looking at the reagents and functional groups of the substrate, we are going to predict the products accurately. 

And finally we'll learn to prepare some of the important organic compounds, containing different functional groups.
