"I started my guitar classes with Steve in early 2020. I had attended classes in another music school quite some time back, but I found my sessions with Steve to be very unique. He spends 1:1 time with each student. His sessions focus on moving at a pace tailored to each individual. Another interesting aspect of Steve's class is the songs picked up for each individual is in line with their choice of music. My interest has been gospel and church songs along with Western classical and Steve ensures that the exercises and songs for me aligns to my genre. Steve brings in a lot of passion and dedication for each session and he expects his student also to be dedicated so that it is an enriching experience. "

"I had a truly amazing time while learning to play guitar from Steve before I had to discontinue because of time constraints from my end. He has an ocean of knowledge in terms of music theory which goes a long way in helping understand this skill from a long term point of view. He made sure there was a good mix of theory and songs so as to have a holistic approach towards teaching. The diversity of songs being taught by Steve too is extremely large and I always looked forward to learning new songs. I would certainly recommend Steve's Urban Beats Academy for anyone who is serious towards learning to play guitar. "

"Everyone has different learning speeds but the end it is important for the teacher to stay patient which Steve. He started with absolute basics and makes things easier to understand. He doesn't rush through things and is approachable. Initially thought of learning guitar through free YouTube lessons but I am glad now to have made a right decision to join Steve' class. "

"Steve has a knack of teaching all age groups from 4 to 60's with his in-depth experience. Never though would learn in 40's along with my school going kid. He is a music enthusiast never settles for moderate but pushes for the best. "

"I am taking online classes from past 3 months, we have had a great start. I did know some guitar basics before signing up, however online classes comes with its own challenges. This was tough initially, but Steve was accommodative. Steve corrected me to the point on correction needed in my playing, music theory and techniques. Having spent 3 months, I think I can be the player I want to be 6/7 months down the timeline. "

Unlike other guitar tutors who only concentrate on mentoring students to learn songs directly, Steve sir first ensures that his students become very strong in basics, both technically and in terms of finger movements. "Met Steve through UrbanPro. He had an initial discussion with me to understand the purpose and my specific requirements. Based on this, he has Tailor made classes for me and also ensured that i get the right weekend slot for the classes (as them family men on what weekend has in store for them. They are not resting days). He provides personal attention on the progress and pushes you to do a lot more which is excellent motivation! He provided much needed basic inputs for a novice like me to pick up things fast. He is patient and points out the right techniques to be used , while i make mistakes. He is fabulous on the guitar and keyboard. Overall, am very happy that i met up with Steve as a teacher friend. I would recommend him to all you folks who wanna learn guitar/keyboard. PS:he also sings very well and was also a part of a corporate band. "

"The sequence of teaching step by step guitar classes and making me familiar with leads, chords and few sequence exercises improving my finger technique and timing. In a span is 3 months I am able to play few songs leads and started with chords very quickly. Overall it's a high quality music classes. "
