Objective: The Beginners session in Power BI is aimed to give you hands-on practice on Power BI Desktop app, how to connect to Excel data and create a sample report from the scratch using visualisations.

1. Introduction to Power BI

2. Business Intelligence Concepts

3. Creating a report with visualisations

4. Introduction to Service

5. Publishing the Report to Power BI Service

6. Creating a Dashboard

7. Sharing dashboards with other stakeholders

Requisites for the session are:

• A Laptop/Computer with Microsoft account and being able to install Power BI on the machine locally. 
• Sample Data source will be provided with instructions to install for the session.

Post Course Steps: The Beginners session allows hand-on practice of the Power BI app, then moving to intermediate session, where we discuss measures and how we can effectively transform data into useful reporting for visualisations.
