I teach violin online or face-to-face to focused and disciplined children and adults

For the online violin lesson, each student must have at least:

-A smart phone or computer with a smooth connection.

-A table and chair without armrests for posture body and fingers.

-A calm and lighted room.

-A white notebook.

1- Foundation Stage

Goal: Understand the instrument and basic technique.

Key Concepts

Learn the layout of the keyboard (white & black keys, C-D-E-F-G-A-B).

Identify Middle C and octaves.

Learn hand posture and finger numbers (1–5 for each hand).

Practice simple finger exercises for independence and strength (e.g., 1-2-3-4-5 patterns).

Practice Tasks

Play C major scale (both hands separately).

Practice simple melodies (like “Mary Had a Little Lamb”, “Ode to Joy”).

Learn basic rhythm reading (quarter, half, whole notes).

2-Music Reading & Coordination

Goal: Learn to read sheet music and coordinate both hands.

 Key Concepts

Learn staff, clefs, and note names.

Understand time signatures (4/4, 3/4) and tempo.

Practice hands-together exercises with simple songs.

Start using a metronome for timing.

Practice Tasks

Play C, G, and F major scales.

Learn easy two-hand pieces (e.g., “Twinkle Twinkle”, “Canon in D – simple version”).

Practice simple chord patterns (C–F–G)

3- Chords & Harmony

Goal: Play songs with chord accompaniment and understand harmony.

Key Concepts

Learn major and minor triads.

Understand I–IV–V–vi chord progressions.

Practice left-hand chord + right-hand melody.

Practice Tasks

Play songs using chord progressions (e.g., “Let It Be”, “Perfect”, “Someone Like You”).

Learn arpeggios.

Begin improvising simple melodies over chords.

 4- Expression & Style

Goal: Develop musicality and versatility.

 Key Concepts

Dynamics (loud/soft), articulation (legato/staccato).

Pedal use (sustain).

Explore different styles: classical, pop, blues, gospel, etc.

 Practice Tasks

Learn two intermediate songs in your favorite style.

Experiment with chord inversions.

Start playing by ear (figure out songs you like).
