My Japanese classes are designed to be practical, interactive, and personalized to each student. I believe that learning Japanese should not be limited to memorizing grammar rules and vocabulary. The goal is to understand Japanese and gradually become confident enough to use it in real situations.
The class content depends on your current level and your personal goals. If you are a complete beginner, we can start from the basics, including Hiragana, Katakana, pronunciation, basic grammar, vocabulary, and simple conversations. If you already have experience with Japanese, we can focus on improving your speaking, grammar, vocabulary, kanji, reading, listening, or overall fluency.
For students preparing for the JLPT, I can provide structured preparation for N5, N4, N3, and N2, including grammar, vocabulary, kanji, reading, listening, and practice questions.
We can also focus on practical Japanese for travel, everyday conversations, studying or working in Japan, interviews, and business situations. Japanese culture and etiquette can also be included when relevant.
During lessons, I use explanations, examples, conversation practice, roleplays, exercises, and real-life situations to make the language easier to understand and remember. I also adjust the pace and teaching method according to how you learn best.
Whether you want to learn Japanese from zero, pass the JLPT, communicate more confidently, or simply understand Japanese culture better, the lessons will be structured around your goals.
You don't need to be perfect before you start speaking. We'll build your Japanese step by step and work toward making you comfortable using it.
