Vectors and Scalars are two important types of physical qunatities and mathematical entities.
In this class, I will talk about the need of Vectors and why Scalars are not alone good enough. I will discuss about defining vectors algebrically and graphically. I will talk on laws associated with vectors i.e. Triangle law of vector addition and Parallelogram law of vector addition. I will also talk on why current is not a vector quantity even though is has both direction and magnitude, and so why pressure is a scalar quantity. As these two qunatities have directions and magnitude but they still classified as Scalars.
This class is will be useful for 11th std student. As the concept of vectors and Scalars first get introduce to us in 11th std, I designed this session specifically for 11th class students.
about me: I have finished my MSc in physics from NIT Rourkela and BSc in physics from Mumbai University. I will be happy to work out your physics doubts with you.
