This online class is designed for B.Tech, M.Tech, Diploma, Petroleum Engineering and Chemical Engineering students who wish to understand the fundamentals of the oil and gas industry. The course provides a systematic introduction to petroleum engineering, drilling engineering, reservoir engineering and production operations. Students will learn about petroleum exploration, drilling rigs, drilling fluids, well construction, casing and cementing, well control, reservoir basics and safety practices followed in the industry.
The class combines theoretical concepts with practical industrial applications from real oil and gas field operations. PPT presentations, study notes, learning materials and additional reference resources will be provided to support student learning. The session is suitable for university students, working professionals, project students and learners preparing for examinations, interviews and higher studies.
Interactive discussions and doubt-clearing sessions will be conducted throughout the class. Students only need a notebook, internet connection and willingness to learn.
