This network introductory course is designed for those who are not familiar with 'network technology' or wish to re-visit the fundamentals. The course is suitable for progression to our CCNA, for Business Managers dealing with IT professionals, and both Sales and Administrators requiring a technical understanding of network technology. Whilst this course is not Cisco specific it does provide the foundation knowledge required for the Cisco CCNA course.This course can lead to the following Cisco certifications : CCNA, CCDA, CCNA Wireless.

Introduction to Networking and Protocols.The Open System Interconnect (OSI) reference model. Network Devices (Hubs, Switches and Routers).Switched Networks (including VLAN, Spanning Tree and Trunking) .TCP/IP protocol suite (but not detailed IP addressing) .Routing Protocols introduction.WAN Technologies (Lease Lines, ISDN, xDSL, Frame Relay and VPN).

BCA, MCA, BE, ME, BCom, MCom- freshers, willing to pursue a career in networking or personnel wanting to have foundation knowledge of computer networks.
