This workshop is designed to educate interested individuals about what they can expect from a guitar class. What the guitar is, how it is played, what are chord, scales, what is time in music, etc.
It's a window into what the lessons will be like and how someone that wants to start learning/playing will go about their practice and progress over multiple sessions.
It explains in detail the parts of the guitar, the materials they are made of, the types of guitars and guitar bodies you can encounter.
It also covers open chord shapes, major scales, names of the notes and their sounds, how to keep time while playing, what techniques are used to pick or fret and how to structure daily practice.
There are small references to styles of music and the requirements for playing them. The workshop also covers in brief the options a student can choose while learning, for eg. grade exam certifications, performance certifications, hobby learning or simply learning to only play songs.
