Introduction of the music about Nadam, Sruthi, Swaram and Laya, Talam also. In carnatic music these are the most important usual words to understand about the introduction. After this can introduce some Sarali swaras, Janta swaras, Alankaras and Daatu swaras. After these fundamentals Geethas will be introduced. Geethas are mainly two types. Pillari geethas and Lakshana geethas. After the geethas swarapallavis and swarajathis can be taught. Then the Varnams should be learn. Varnas like intermediary between fundamental stage to advanced level. Advanced level compositions in carnatic music are the kruthis. Kruthis are the toppest compositions in carnatic music. After the learning of many kruthis, manodharmam can be introduced to the student. In manodharmam there are 5 aspects. Ragalapana, Tanam, Neravu, Pallavi and Swarakalpana. We can experience the divinity and great knowledge through this manodharmam. That is eternal. To reach manodharmam we should learn with patience and dedication. Practice makes the students become the vidwan in carnatic music.
