Whether you’ve just wrapped up beginner lessons or you’ve picked up the basics on your own, this course will sharpen your skills and expand your musical toolkit. Designed for anyone who can already find notes on the keyboard, play simple two-hand tunes, and read basic rhythms, we’ll focus on technique, theory, and expressive playing.

• Students (5+) who’ve completed beginner lessons or taught themselves core keyboard skills

• Musicians who want to go beyond simple melodies and chords

• Anyone aiming to play more confidently, creatively, and fluidly

What you’ll learn:

1. Refined technique – hand-independence drills, finger-strength exercises, and wrist flexibility for cleaner runs and arpeggios

2. Richer harmonies – extended chords (7ths, 9ths) and voicing strategies to make your playing sound fuller

3. Scales & arpeggios – major, minor, pentatonic, and their arpeggio patterns across two octaves for stronger dexterity

4. Rhythmic mastery – syncopation, dotted rhythms, and dynamic expression to bring pieces to life

5. Applied repertoire – intermediate pop, classical, and film-score excerpts plus guided improvisation over backing tracks

What to bring:

• A keyboard or piano (minimum 61 keys)

• Printed sheet music (PDFs provided ahead of each lesson)
